People who make decisions based on emotion and justify those decisions with logic afterwards are poor decision makers.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.
I agree with the statement. It is true that people who make decisions based on emotion and justify those decision with logic afterwards are poor decision makers.
By emotion if people take a decision without deliberation those decisions vary with their emotion and not involved any logic because at that moment whatever they decided they do not even think if its right. In other words their decisions are driven completely by emotion without even some sort of logical analysis. It happens vastly in our every day situations.
Even if afterwards after retrospection of decision if it seems wrong most people won't agree that it is wrong instead they argue that their decisions are justified as they do not want to demean themselves in others.
For instance, people around us can stir up us to such an extent that we do anything impulsively as we are driven by emotions without any deliberation. If we later think we did like that then we agree that we do not use any deliberation. And in some interviews also they would make us agitated and see if we can control our emotion and do use our logical hats.
However, there are situations where we need to take a decisions faster without having any deliberation and we need to go by instincts which later we think can be justified. In a sum we need to be careful for the decisions making by emotion and use our logical thinking earlier than thinking and analyzing afterwards.
