From question,
\(\frac{a}{b}\) = \(\frac{2}{3}\) or, \(3a = 2b\)
we know that a is +ve hence the expression 3a is +ve since +ve * +ve = +ve for the same reason 2b is also +ve and equal to 3a.
Now b> a always because 3 multiplied by something is equal to 2 multiplied by something. since 3>2. If 3 is multiplied by a number 'a', 2 has to be multiplied by the number 'b' which is greater than a to make 3a = 2b.

GIVEN: a : b = 2 : 3 In other words: a/b = 2/3
NOTE: Since a is positive, we can be certain that b is also positive
From here, we can solve this question using matching operations
Since b is positive, we know that b+5 is positive, which means we can safely multiply both quantities by b+5 to get: Quantity A: a + 5 Quantity B: b + 5
Subtract 5 from both quantities to get: Quantity A: a Quantity B: b
Divide both quantities by b to get: Quantity A: a/b (which we already know is equal to 2/3) Quantity B: 1
