Given 4x > y
divide both sides by 4 to get
we get,
x > 0.25 y
divide both sides by y we know that when divided by a -ve number the inequality sign changes hence,
x/y < 0.25
among option choices only A is below 0.25

GIVEN: 4x > y
Divide both sides by y to get: 4x/y < 1 [when we divide by a NEGATIVE value (y), we REVERSE the direction of the inequality symbol ]
Divide both sides by 4 to get: x/y < 1/4
So, x/y can be ANY value that's LESS THAN 1/4
Answer: A
