Hi Vince,
I'm sorry again for the long message. I have done everything I could possibly due. I took the exam December 2014 and scored a 153 on the Quant and then I would study on and off and did not make much progress. As a result, I decided to take two weeks off work and focus on quant. At some point I was scoring in the 158 range on my Quant with
Magoosh however, as the test rolled around I started to feel completely burned out as I was focusing on Quant questions for 7+ hours a day and scored a 153 on the quant again. I have not studied the Verbal section at all and scored a 149. This is going to be my third time taking the GRE and my goal is to score 90th percentile in both sections.
- Previously I went through all of the Quant
Manhattan Prep strategy guides, took all of the Manhattan tests online. In addition, I did most of the Quant questions offered by
Magoosh online and still seemed to only score a 158 at my highest.
- I have the next month off work and am starting to go through the Strategy guides again but this time I plan on going through all of the quant questions in the 5lb book. Hopefully that will help.
- I have also maintained an error log and would continuously go back and solve problems however, to no avail I still did extremely poor. I'm not sure what to do anymore, private tutors are way too expensive and I took a free Manhattan course (1 class offered for free) however, it seemed that the class would not be too helpful since the pace they were going out was extremely slow and they would not answer direction questions that I had in regards to the tougher questions.
Is there a guide or plan of action you recommend. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
