The above argument states that the government should not interfere in the private affairs of small businesses in order for these small-scale businesses to be successful.I would like to agree with the argument mentioned above.
When a small-scale business tries to thrive in such a highly competitive environment the last thing the the creators of these business would want is the outside interference of an outsider who tries to interfere in their day to day working. It might be prove to be a useful strategy which might even help the company grow into a large scale business but the government has no right to send it’s personnel to interefere in that organisation’s day to day matters. That personnel has not been involved in the creation of that business,he/she might not be as passionate as the founding members of the company and therefore might want to carry the business forward in a way which maybe opposite to the way the other founding members would have liked to do.The government might want to carry out the proceedings in a way which would represent government’s interest and while that is something which should be an ambition of the upcoming start-ups,there might be other other motivation behind starting the company which would discourage the organisation’s founding members. Therefore there might be a clash of interests between the government and the small scale businesses trying to name make their name in the market.
One more reason behind not having the government interfere in the private affairs of the up and coming businesses is that it curbs all the creativity of the employees who tried to start this business in the first place. They might have encountered several problems in the past and might encounter more severe problems in the future but it is about they deal with them. They will be responsible for their own actions. In times of difficulties they might be required to think out of the box and come up with some novel solution to tackle the specific problems. It enhances their creativity, makes them more confident in life and builds up work ethic in the team.If the government starts interfering in those problems trying to come up with a solution, the employees will get discouraged which would not do any good to the already small scale business. It might also discourage other young entrepreneurs who are trying to come up with that ‘billion dollar idea’.Facebook would not reach the heights as it has done if the government would have interfered regularly in there private matters.Small amounts of checks is fine in order to ensure that the business in operating under legal terms but other than that it should try to poke it’s head in there private affairs.
It is true that all businesses donot thrive when they work on their own and the government intervention is necessary because the business might have the potential but the efficiency of work might not be there. In those cases government intervention might be necessary but it should not be an obligation because the government should allow the employees of the business to come up with a solution to get out of the rut. This will prove to be beneficial for the country in the long run.
