Because Pauling stubbornly continued to believe in the power of vitamin C to cure cancer despite much evidence to the contrary, his colleagues felt he had lost his scientific ________.
Actually, she believes beyond any possible reason, really firmly that vitamin C does something that in the end has not been backed by science or evidence.
Is akin when Galileo went in prison because he sustained that the earth rotates on its own. The pope, even in front of clear evidence, didn't believe him.
So, the pope was not objective in his belief.
Hope now is clear. Most of the time the context is king. Aside from a keyword/s.
