my answer came out to be 95, after calculating ( no. of multiples of 5 + no. of multiples of 7 - no. of multiples of 35)
but the actual answer is 104.
please explain.

Hi,
I got the same answer as you did.
No of multiples of 5 is 61. (300/5 +1).
No of multiples of 7 is 42. (300/7).
No of multiples of 35 is 8. (300/35)
So 95 seems to be the right answer. Please cite the source of the question, maybe I am missing something.

Actually, it's in my practice book for GRE provided by Jambooree.
By the way, you did it somewhere wrong.
Hi,
No of multiples of 5 is 61.
No of multiples of 7 is 43.
No of multiples of 35 is 9.
so my answer= 61+43-9 = 95
