At a sandwich shop, there are 2 breads, 3 kinds of meat, 4 types of cheeses, and 6 different sauces to choose from. Customers can choose only one of each. Assuming a customer has already chosen one kind of bread and one kind of meat for a sandwich, how many different sandwiches can be made from the other ingredients?
A. 36
B. 24
C. 18
D. 10
E. 2
Kudos for the right answer and explanation
Here,
Since, Customers can choose only one of each and he already choosed 1 bread and 1 meat
then out of 4 cheese, he can only choose = 4C1 = 4 ways
and out of 6 sauces, he can choose = 6C1 = 6 ways
Therefore, the total no. of possibility = 1*1*4*6 = 24 ways
