Total number of students in 2007 = \(300 + n\)
Arrange the Total number of students in ascending order first
760 800 813 (300 + n) 828 850 891 933
NOTE: (300 + n) has to be the 4th or 5th term - otherwise the median would not be 834.5
Median = 834.5 = Average of 4th and 5th term
So, Sum of 4th and 5th term = 1669
Therefore, 300 + n + 828 = 1669
n = 541
Hence, option D
