I'm going to phrase this answer a little differently, mostly to help myself explain it:
Step 1: If x/y = 2.12 then we can convert that to 2 and 12/100. 12/100 simplifies to 3/25. The top part of this fraction is the remainder, so we're looking for numbers that are divisible by 3.*
Step 2: Look at the list of numbers - which are divisible by 3? B, D, F, and H.
Thus, B, D, F, and H are the correct answers.
*We can confirm the remainder by converting 2.12 to an improper fraction:
2.12 = 2 and 12/100
12/100 = 3/25 (simplified)
2 and 3/25 converted to an improper fraction is 53/25. 25 goes into 53 2 times with a remainder of 3.
