XYZW is a square with side s
we see that s = r where(r is the radius of circle)
by area of arc = 90/360 *π*r^2
since s = r
area of arc = 1/4*π*s^2
area of square = s^2
area of shaded region = area of square - area of arc
=s^2 - 1/4*π*s^2
Option (C)
we see that s = r where(r is the radius of circle)
by area of arc = 90/360 *π*r^2
since s = r
area of arc = 1/4*π*s^2
area of square = s^2
area of shaded region = area of square - area of arc
=s^2 - 1/4*π*s^2
