I understand you point. However, your observation has a flaw.
Since you are studying for this exam you must know that. there is no middle ground. Or in or out.
I am sorry to say that but I am just honest: if a STUDENT does not have a good master of the English language, good math skills, good inference aptitude, in my humble opinion , he/she should not even try to attempt a test like this.
They are prerequisites or necessary ground to score well on the test
