Of the 1,500, 30% finished in an hour, that's 1,500 * 0.3 = 450 finished within an hour and 1,050 finished more than an hour.
Of the remaining 50% finished within 1.5 hours, so 1050 * 0.5 = 525. And remaining are ones who took longer than 1.5 hours.
Answer is D) 525
