The idea to take mocks at a constant pace is completely subjective

A student could take a mock every day o never.

The goal of taking mock is to get used to the exam and to deal with time pressure and refine your time management. However, students think as a tool to improve their exam ability and skills. In other words, to nail more questions correctly.

This is false.

A friend took the GMATPrep, two, in the last week before the exam and never before. Just to warm up.

720 final score.

It is totally up to you and your feeling/confidence

Thank you guys, I'll try to ask it differently:

how much vocabulary did you learn before the diagnostic test? I'm not a native speaker, so right now, after studying only 3 greg-sets, I'm not quite sure it will cover enough words to do well in this mock.

Thanks!

Hi Omeriko, It's hard to answer your question, because it depends on how good is your current vocabulary. If you regularly read english magazines(NYT, WP, NY, WSJ,..) and books, then may be 500 more words.
