GRE at Home on M1 MacBook Air and Hotspot

I'm giving the GRE at home in 2 weeks time and have an M1 MacBook Air.
I read some posts about M1 macs not working with the Proctor U software and was scared some issue might pop-up on test day.
I also tested out the 'Testing your equipment' page on ETS ( pic attached below) and the software is unable to detect the computer architecture because it can supposedly only run on an Intel Mac.
So, should I just borrow a friend's windows laptop for the Test or is there a way to solve this issue?
Also, I have issues with WiFi connectivity in my house and was planning to use a Hotspot to connect to the laptop. Has anyone faced issues with the Proctor while using the Hotspot or is it allowed to be used?
