The mean of five distinct positive integers is 10. so lets use four smallest distinct positive integers which will give us the maximum possible value for the 5th integer which we can let be as X for now four smallest distinct positive integers=1,2,3,4 we know (1+2+3+4+X)/5=10 10+X=50 X=40 so Quantity B is greater

Given that The mean of five distinct positive integers is 10 and we need to find the largest possible value of one of the integers
=============================================================== Theory [list]‣‣‣ Sum = Mean * Total Number of Numbers ===============================================================
Sum = Mean * Total Number of Numbers = 10 * 5 = 50
Now we have distinct positive numbers in the set So to have the highest number as the largest we can take 4 other numbers as distinct positive numbers
=> Smallest 4 numbers will be 1, 2, 3, 4. Making the Largest number as 50 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 = 50 - 10 = 40
Clearly, Quantity B(46) > Quantity A(40)
So, Answer will be B. Hope it helps!
