Assume a, b and c to be the lengths of three sides of given triangle.
Perimeter of the given triangle is 30 units.
So, we can say, a + b + c = 30 units.
If c = 5 units, we get a + b = 25.
Hypotenuse of a triangle is the largest side.
Consider Pythagoras triplet 5, 12 and 13
shown in the figure.
This is the only combination for three sides
of a right angled triangle, which gives a
perimeter 30 units.
Here, the hypotenuse is 13, base is 5 and height is 12.
Hence,
Area = ½ × 5 × 12 = 30 square units.
