According to the question, we need to find coordinates of B and it is given that, 𝑥 -
axis is perpendicular bisector of AB.
𝑥-axis is perpendicular to AB. Hence, B is in straight line with A and AB is at 90o
to 𝑥 -
axis.
𝑥-axis is bisector of AB, which means distance of both the points A and B are
equidistant from 𝑥-axis.
Therefore, we can conclude B is the mirror image of A along 𝑥-axis.
Hence, we will change the sign of 𝑦-coordinate and 𝑥-coordinate will remain the
same and the coordinates of point B are (4, -3)
