i understood till 35 mins to wash 1 load and 2 mins to unload but from where did 8+1 come please explain

I have examined all of the solutions above and I don't see any mention of "8+1"
Can you elaborate what do you mean by 8+1?

sir i was talking about the final answer which 9 i didnt understand how did we reach at the final answer. I understood till the 37mins but after that i didnt understand

After 8 loads, there are still 37 minutes remaining, which is just enough time for 1 more load (which take 35 minutes to wash and 2 minutes to unload)
