Given: x/15 > y/25
The LCM of 15 and 25 is 75, so let's multiply both sides by 75 to get: 75x/15 > 75y/25
Simplify: to get: 5x > 3y
Now let's examine the two quantities:
QUANTITY A: 6y + 5x
QUANTITY B: 10x + 3y
Subtract 5x from both quantities:
QUANTITY A: 6y
QUANTITY B: 5x + 3y
Subtract 3y from both quantities:
QUANTITY A: 3y
QUANTITY B: 5x
