In case, Judy does not put it back the ball, what is the probability in this scenario? Is it 1/22?

YES

Probability of picking the first yellow ball (3c1 / 12c1) and Probability of picking a second yellow ball (2c1/ 11c1)

(3/12) * (2/11)

1/22

A certain box contains 4 red blocks, 5 blue blocks, and 3 yellow blocks. Judy will select one of these blocks at random from the box, put it back in the box, and then again select a block at random from the box. What is the probability that both of the blocks selected will be yellow?

Total blocks: 4+5+3=12
total yellow blocks: 3

Probability of 1st yellow block: 3/12
Probability of 2nd yellow block after she puts back yellow block in bag: 3/12
so, 3/12 * 3/12 = 1/16
