The RC must be formatted as the way I did. Moreover, tags must be added.

Tagging is an important way to identify the uestion at stake and help students in their research on the board.

Thank you for you collaboration.

1) This is discovery was illustrated in the second paragraph and throughout the passage hence A is correct.

2) It is mentioned in the end of the third paragraph. “Water vapour evaporated from ocean moves away from its source , its oxygen-18 returns more quickly to the oceans than does oxygen-16.

3) For this, we need to refer the first paragraph. “Each time, the enormous ice sheets resulting from this continual build up lasted tens of thousand years until the end of each particular cycle brought a warmer climate”

4) In the fourth’s paragraph author presents a similarity between seawater and the ice sheets and glaciers. It is said that the oxygen-18 is poor in the glaciers as well.

5) Since they combined the records of oxygen-isotope measurements shows that the chronology of the combined records enable scientists to show that the record contains the very same periodicities as orbital processes. Only assumption that is related to the oxygen measurements among the option choices is C.

6) It is mentioned in the last paragraph after Emiliani found that isotopic ratio rose and fell in rough accord. A chronology for the combined record enables scientists to show orbital processes.

7) The last line of the first paragraph explains that until round 30 years ago, the lack of an independent record of ice age timing made the hypothesis untestable. So the scientist agreed that the record is adequate enough and is the later record is found.

Hi Carcass,

For Q7, I have eliminated A, C , E.

Now confused between B & D.

&

For Q6, first scientists are ? And answered is referred from this sentence?

Since that pioneering observation, oxygen-isotope measurements have been made on hundreds of cores.

Can you please explain these two?

Q6 the answer to the question is in this sentence

Quote:
Analysing cores drilled from seafloor sediments, Emiliani found that the isotopic ratio rose and fell in rough accord with the Earth’s astronomical cycles.

When you have tough inference questions, always look a bit early in the passage when the question and the relative details are supposed centered

OR a bit after. To have a full picture. Usually, this is the trick

B. adequate enough to allow that reconstruction’s use in explaining glacial cycles if a record of the latter could be found

Same thing in differents words
