Hi
And welcome to the GRE Prep Club. A couple of days ago I went to the cinema to see Top Gun Maverick (good movie) and Mav said to accomplish his plan: miracle number one and miracle number two. Pretty much here is the same
Seriously Sir, I am joking but
What we do know so far
1) We need >= 10 points.
2) Less than two months for the next exam
3) 2 hrs per day (we do NOT know if at the beginning of the day, middle, or in the end after work which is not ideal)
I would say we need three miracles
I am not saying what we need to achieve is impossible but considering the constraints above is a big challenge, frankly. I believe we have to be realistic about what we (YOU) can do or not.
We need also to figure out as soon as possible the following key points
1) In which area both quant and verbal you are strong and where you are weak ? First thing. I am good at algebra and word problem is a mess. I have a weak vocabulary but I read RC pretty decently
2) What material is my intention to use ? What do you have in your tool box ?
3) Do I have just two hours or can I implement more than that ? I assume 5 days per week so 2*5=10 hrs of study is below the average. Ideally per week , students (it depends) need 15 hrs across the spectrum.
Start here
https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/gre-prep- ... 28495.html there are a lot of resources.
Here is our study plan even though is my intention to rebuild it from scratch
https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/gre-study ... tml#p18372My humble suggestion is, regardless, to start again from the basics and work heavily on that
For example: start again from here the fundamentals
https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/gre-math- ... tml#p81626Again, no matter what
To give you an example: students think: ohhhh I know the periodic table. Then during the exam or solving a question they have a tiny second of reflection what is 7*9...NO. Our goal is for example to know by heart the table up to the number 12
Also jot down those formulas or rules which you are stubborn to memorize. For example the area of triangle b*h/2. There is ALWAYS something that we will never remember, regardless of how simple it is
I tried to be as honest and helpful as possible
Ask for further assistance and....miracles happen. Every single day in our lives.
Good Luck
