[size=150]Governments should offer a free university education to any student who has been admitted to a university but who cannot afford the tuition.
Write a response in which you discuss your views on the policy and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider the possible consequences of implementing the policy and explain how these consequences shape your position.
Every citizen in a country has right for education. University students are not the exception. But it’s not a sole a duty of the government to ensure that the students who don’t have the ability for affording the tuition fee. This issue can be solved with the cooperation with the university and the government.
Every year students are admitted to the university to get their higher education and it’s needed a lot of money. Not every student can afford it. The Government should come forward to solve this issue but the university also have a duty to resolve this. Because every year they are getting money in the name of donation. That’s mean that they have their own fund. There are some rich university like Harvard, Yale, Sandford etc. who certainly have that ability to afford those students without tuition fee. They don’t need government intervention.
Another thing university can do is to offer them a scholarship. The fund for scholarships can be collected from both government and university. Also, there are many rich educational philanthropists who are willing to offer tuition free for those who can not afford it. What university can do is that find those students who are not capable or not self-sufficient and inform it to the philanthropists so that they can contribute.
As government is bound to give education to its people, the government has the responsibility to ensure that. But it’s not only the duty of government but also the university and the society to make sure that the students who are unable to afford the tuition fee should get the education. Government already spending money for health, education and welfare. If individuals come and contribute this problem can be solved easily.
There is a maxim that is ‘when there is will there is a way.’ It will be unfortunate if the education is halted because of money. Everyone should come forward to ensure education for everyone. Because education is the backbone of a nation. Without education country can’t prosper.

I would give a 4. what do you guys think about mine?
While it sounds quite temping to have the governments pay for students’ college education, situations vary between each country. Most country have different sets of laws regarding mandatory education. In some country, the period of mandatory education could well extend to a student’s college career. However, in some developing countries, mandatory education might only cover up to the level of literacy. Therefore, some governments are not legally required to pay for students’ college tuition.
To build upon this argument, these mandatory education laws are made based upon the cultural and economical situation of that specific country. While in some more developed countries, it might be applicable for the government to pay for student’s tuition. This might not be the case for many developing countries. In which, other social or economical issues may take priority over the necessity of higher education. Therefore, it is not applicable to have all governments pay for students’ college tuitions.
Furthermore, even if the rights to higher education is granted based on the mandatory education law of a certain country. It cannot be the governments’ sole responsibility to take care all tuitions. The universities should also bear the responsibility of assisting financially troubled students. Because after all, the university is the direct financial beneficiary of the tuition.
Nevertheless, education is one of the most important part in term of building a bright future for a country. But placing the responsibility of tuition solely on the government is at least inconsiderate.

I will give 5. But we know that nowadays the government isn't thinking about students. All they want is money. I agreed with you colleges should give free education to those students who can't afford them. But nowadays, even in schools, they do counseling of student's parents to find whether they will give admission to students or not. But I still don't get this why they are taking interviews of student's parents. According to me, nowadays universities are like a business for the people. They just only want student's money and they don't care whether the student is getting proper education or not. Richer are getting more rich and poor people are getting poorer. But there are universities out there that are giving free education to those students who can't afford but the sad thing is it is hard to find those universities.
