"For resolving their conflict", we need a similar word for the first blank; intensified is an opposite, frustrated mean thwart, adjusted means balanced or fixed. So, adjusted is the correct answer.
Now, notice the sentence is saying, children, have "no such" _____ for resolving the conflict. So, this tells me that they don't have the same tools or mechanisms.
