Target Test Prep - The Importance of Nailing Key Concepts

TTP’s GRE prep course was genuinely a game-changer for me. Before enrolling, I had been studying for the GRE on and off for quite some time, but my scores had completely flatlined. No matter how many practice questions I did or how much harder I tried, I simply wasn’t seeing any improvement in my practice test results. It was frustrating — I felt like I had reached a ceiling I couldn’t break through.
Coming from Africa (so having to convert my currency to dollars - not ideal) and being between jobs at the time, I was very apprehensive about signing up for TTP. The cost and time commitment felt significant, and I wasn’t sure if it would truly be worth it. But after taking the leap, I can confidently say that it absolutely was. The course brought much-needed structure and discipline to my studying, and it helped me focus on learning the why behind each concept instead of just memorizing formulas. TTP breaks everything down from first principles, which not only made the material stick but also gave me a sense of control and understanding that I’d been missing.
The biggest difference came in the Quant section. Even though I come from a finance and quantitative background, my quant scores had never reflected that — and I couldn’t figure out why. Before TTP, I was anxious and confused. But as I worked through the lessons systematically, I began to uncover large gaps in my understanding that I hadn’t even realized existed. The way TTP explained each topic from the ground up filled those gaps and built my confidence question by question.
By the end of the program, my scores had improved significantly, and I finally felt like I understood the GRE inside out. The course was worth every cent — not only for the score improvement but for the clarity and confidence it gave me. The return on investment is undeniable, and I’d recommend TTP without hesitation to anyone serious about reaching their target GRE score. Genuinely, for anyone out-there who is unsure as to whether you want to sign-up to TTP or now, if you are certain that a good score is your goal, this is absolutely going to save you time, money and stress in the long-run.
