For a cube,
Length of largest rod that can be fit inside is diagonal of cube.
Diagonal of cube = side × √3
Consider the sphere inside cube, We get to know here that; diameter of sphere is side of cube. So, radius of sphere would be half of side of cube. Radius of sphere = 1/2 × Side of cube
Quantity A
The ‘Value’ of cube of side 4 units;
Value = Diagonal of cube + Radius of sphere
= 4√3 + 1/2 × 4 = 8.92
Quantity B
8
Clearly, Quantity A > Quantity B.

4root3 because it would be the largest diagonal of a cube with length 4 and the maximum radius that can fit inside the cure is half the side of cube i.e.4/2=4 therefore 4root3+2> 8 so A
