Hey everyone!
First time posting here. I am hoping to score a 165+ on each section of the GRE. I have never attempted the actual test and have committed to a very slow/methodical approach:
1) Begin with
Magoosh lessons.
2) Take all
Magoosh practice questions multiple times. Understand the vast majority and at least know how to begin or reason through the most difficult questions.
3) Purchase PowerPrep tests and take them. If regularly scoring over 165+ on both sections, move to actual GRE.
3b) If not getting the scores I want, get Manhattan/
Kaplan/etc. help.
My big question is to people familiar with the
Magoosh Premium lessons/questions: Did you find them to be harder than the test? If yes, were they significantly so? It's hard for me to get to a level of "mastery" in a given subject without losing a lot of the intricate/detailed knowledge when I go to other topics. This is especially true for me on advanced questions in both verbal and math.
A short way to ask the same questions:
- For those who used Magoosh, how much harder was it than the real test?
- What did Magoosh predict and what did you actually score?
- Did you use anything in addition to Magoosh?
Thank you!!
