Let x = Chetan's age IN 2002
This means 2002 - x = Chetan's BIRTH YEAR
The age of Mr. Chetan in 2002 was 1/90 of his birth year.
We can write: x = (1/90)(2002 - x)
To eliminate the fraction, multiply both sides of the equation by 90 to get: 90x = (2002 - x)
Add x to both sides: 91x = 2002
Solve: x = 2002/91 = 22
So, Chetan was 22 years old in 2002
What is his age in 2006?
If Chetan was 22 years old in 2002, then Chetan's age in 2006 will be 26

2002−x=x/90
180180−90x=x
91x=180180
x=1980
Age in 2006=> 2006-1980=26
2002−x=x/90
180180−90x=x
91x=180180
x=1980
Age in 2006=> 2006-1980=26
