=>pi * (0.25)2 = x.

pi = 3.14, then x = 0.19

col A = 0.19 and B = 0.25

B is greater than A.

Area of circle = π(radius)²

So, if the radius is 1/4, then area = π(1/4)²
= π(1/16)
= π/16

In other words, x = π/16

So, we get:
Quantity A: π/16
Quantity B: 1/4

If we're not sure what to do here, a quick approach is to use matching operations

Multiply both quantities by 16 to get:
Quantity A: π
Quantity B: 4

Since π ≈ 3.14, we can see that Quantity B is greater.

Answer: B

One could also compare by finding the lowest common denominator, and then you could compare the two values.

X = 22/7 x 1/4 x 1/4 = 11/56
1/4 = 14/56
14/56 > 11/56
