The shaded region forms a triangle so in simple terms we have to calculate the area of the triangle.
For the area of triangle we need the length of the base and the perpendicular.
base = 11
Perpendicular = 5
area of triangle = \(\frac{1}{2}\) * base * perpendicular
Therefore, the area = \(\frac{1}{2} * 11*5 = 27.5\)
\(A < B\)
The answer is B
