Can we assume both lines are ||, if yes then ans is option C, because base and height is same for both triangles.
If both lines are not ||, then ans should be option D

There is a rule of thumb on the GRE and the GMAT: IF you have a caption such as the diagram or figure drawn or NOT drawn the scale you can have the assumption accordingly
However, if nothing is mentioned the figure DRAWN the scale.
In this specific case the lines are parallel
