Let perimeter of picture = x
Length of each side = x/4
Now wooden frame size (border) has length p.
Adding border to both side, we get frame length = x/4 + 2p
Now we know that area is q. So the length of frame = √q
Perimeter = 4(x/4+2p) = 4√q
=> x + 8p = 4√q
=> x = 4√q - 8p
