Number larger than 300 which is multiple of both 6 and 8 has to be multiple of 24.
So number greater than 300 and divisible by 24 is 312.
Hence B is greater than A.
So number greater than 300 and divisible by 24 is 312.
Hence B is greater than A.

Get the LCM: 2^3 and 3 = 24
Now start the search: I tried 15 x 24 = 360 and then 13 x 24 = 312.
Done. B > A.
