Some type of evidence related to mental and physical health is _________ and the American physicians are not relating this and not prescribing to their patients. But the doctors in east are prescribing it.
Overwhelming and Stupefying are best fits, therefore option B & F are correct answers.

The second sentence states that Eastern medicine have been prescribed for both mind and body. So in contrast, the first sentence should mean some failure or less knowledge to factor the correlation by American Physicians. "Indistinct" means non distinct (not clear) makes sense. Overwhelming means more than normal which would mean more evidence. So it is opposite of what we should be looking for. Mediocre means ordinary which is out of scope.
For the second blank, adamant means stubborn which is out of scope. Stupefy means to amaze or confuse which also does not makes sense.
So the answer should be indistinct and benign.
