If a number is divisible by both 8 and 6 it should have factors of both 8 and 6.
8 = 2*2*2
6= 2*3
So the number should be divisible by 2*2*2*3 = 24
Here one 2 is exempted as there should be three 2s to be a multiple of 8 .
Hence E
8 = 2*2*2
6= 2*3

Since 3072 is divisible by both 6 and 8, it’s divisible by the LCM of 6 and 8, which is 24. Thus, the next larger integer that is divisible by both 6 and 8 is 3072 + 24 = 3096.
Answer: E
