The original price of an item is $1.40. Lenny bought 4 items at full p [#permalink]
Total C.P for Lenny for all items: 1.4*4+5*1.40*.80+5*1.4*.60=1.4(4+5*.80+5*.60)=1.4(11)=15.4
so average price = 15.4/total items=15.4/14=1.1 hence answer (C)
