Given that The phone company's charge for the first 3 minutes of phone use is $0.10 and the charge for each additional minute thereafter is $0.05. And we need to find what is the cost of a 4 hours long telephone call
4 hours = 4*60 mins = 240 mins = 3 mins + 237 mins
=> Charge will be $0.10 (for first 3 mins) + $0.05 * 237 (for 237 additional mins)
= $0.10 + $11.85 = $11.95
So, Answer will be $11.95
