The prosperity gospel (here more on wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prosperity_theology ) is among the evangelism movement one of the most important current of thought or is a movement inside the biggest movement of the faith called Evangelism.

Think about the mega Church we do have in the United States and not only. One of the most prominent exponent is Pastor Joel Osteen

The first sentence tell us that the prosperity gospel DOES NOT overlap completely with the Evangelicalism

Hope now is more clear the sense of the first sentence - see strain - and the reason why the first blank

The prosperity gospel is a major strain within evangelicalism, but the two are not (i) ___. There are many evangelical Christians who do not embrace the gospel of wealth, and even (ii)___ the movement‘s theological belief that the faithful have been promised much in the Bible, but must articulate that claim to get those blessings. To many within the conservative Protestant fold, the prosperity gospel‘s (iii)____ divine materialism is as much bad taste as it is bad theology.

There are many evangelical Christians who do not embrace the gospel of wealth

Therefore, the two are not synonymous.

The word "even" before the blank suggest they go beyond merely not embracing the gospel of wealth, therefore, the word for the second blank can only be recoil at.

To many within the conservative protestant fold, the prosperity gospel's (iii)___________ divine materialism is as much bad taste as it is bad theology.

Clearly, we are looking for a word that will make divine materialism a negative outlook. The word is brazen.

You have to read the entire sentence to understand what you are looking for

There are many evangelical Christians who do not embrace the gospel of wealth,

Many evangelicals disagree with the current or strain of that specific gospel, the gospel of wealth

and even (ii)___ the movement‘s theological belief that the faithful have been promised much in the Bible, but must articulate that claim to get those blessings.

On the other hand, those who reject completely the theological movement or maybe are atheists, admit that faith or salvation in contained and promised in the bible.

However, but must articulate that claim to get those blessings.

they must explain how to reach that salvation explained in the bible.

I.E. If I am not a catholic but at the same time I believe and assert that the faith and salvation are still IN the bible, I have to explain how to reach that salvation
