Explanation:
Length = 8x
Breadth = 4x
Height = x
L + B + H = 156
8x + 4x + x = 156
13x = 156
x = 12
Length = 96
Breadth = 48
Height = 12
Now, we are given diameter of cylinder as 3 and height as 1
Since, we need to place them on the base (LB)
We will have \(\frac{96}{3}\) = 32 rows and \(\frac{48}{3}\) = 16 columns
i.e. each layer of (32)(16) = 512 cylinders with height 1
We have height as 12, so a total of (12)(512) = 6144 cylinders
Hence, option D
