Another approach is the equation above is a parabola which symmetry is
\(x=-\frac{b}{2a}\)
\(x=-\frac{32}{2(-2)}=8\)
8 is equidistant from 5 and 11 so the answer must be C
\(x=-\frac{b}{2a}\)
\(x=-\frac{32}{2(-2)}=8\)
