to get 2,500. This is the difference. Divide it by the original, 12,000, to get about 0.2, which when multiplied by 100 is 20%. Since 20% is less than 25%, eliminate (A). Try the next one. 16,000 − 13,000 = 3,000. Divide 3,000 by 16,000. The result is less than 25%, so eliminate (B).
Repeat this process for each of the answer choices. Choices (C), (D), and (F) are the correct answers.
