y-intercept is the value of y when x =0

for qty A

y=3∗0−4
or,y=−4

for qty B we are required to find x-intercept which is the value of x when y =0

therefore,
0−3.5=0.5(x−3)
or,−3.5/0.5=(x−3)
or, −7=x−3
hence −4=x

both qty's are equal so option c
