y-intercept is the value of y when x =0
for qty A
\(y = 3*0 - 4\)
or,\(y = -4\)
for qty B we are required to find x-intercept which is the value of x when y =0
therefore,
\(0-3.5 = 0.5(x-3)\)
\(or, -3.5/0.5 = (x-3)\)
or, \(-7 = x - 3\)
hence \(-4 = x\)
both qty's are equal so option c
for qty A
