I was thinking last one would be G. platform. It makes sense that demeaning comments will be harmful to political party's platform. Label also makes sense but I am really confused between the two here.

A political platform is the core set of beliefs of a party. A political label would be the outward apparence of the group. While you could say that something could be bad for the core beliefs, you really would want to be saying something more like "it goes against the core beliefs" or "it makes the core beliefs looks bad/wrong." Saying that something could be bad for the outward apperance of your political party makes more sense here. While i think you could argue political platform being a sensible answer, I, label, is simply more correct.

So how can platform be both sensible and incorrect?

I find "label" very ambiguous even in context. It's very easy to argue that a label denotes what the party is made up of or what it represents, just like a platform would.
