To help the students at the school display their artwork, the most popular teacher wants to raise the money to cover the entire left side of the hallway in one section of the school in cork. The wall that is being covered in cork is 27 feet long and 9 feet tall. Each panel of cork board comes in 3 ft by 3 ft (or one square yard) sections and costs x dollars. In terms of x, how many dollars will need to be raised in order to cover the entire wall in cork?

Area of wall to be covered = Length * Breadth = 27ft * 9ft
Area of Each Panel = 3ft * 3ft = \(9 ft^2\)
Cost of each panel, or cost for area of the panel (\(9 ft^2\)) = x dollars
Total Number of Pane;s required =\(\frac{ Area of wall }{ Area of Panel}\) = \(\frac{27ft * 9ft}{ 9 ft^2}\) = 27 panels
Cost of one panel = x dollars
Cost of 27 panels = 27*x dollars
So, Answer is C.
