Re: Currently, the paramount problem in the field of biomaterial [#permalink]

I relied on PoE for question 18.

18. The passage suggests which of the following about the recent research mentioned in lines blue?

(A) It has solved one set of problems but has created another. The passage doesn't support this. The passage doesn't mention that the research created the problem of the lack of understanding of how foreign materials adhere to tissues. That has been a problem all along.
(B) It has concentrated on secondary concerns but has ignored primary concerns. We don't know this. Maybe the recent research did focus on getting answers to the fundamental quetsion, but failed to arrive at a conclusive answer. So, eliminating this.
(C) It has improved practical applications of biomaterial technology without providing a complete theoretical explanation of that improvement.
(D) It has thoroughly investigated properties of biomaterials but has paid little attention to relevant characteristics of human tissue. The passage doesn't support this.
(E) It has provided considerable information on short-term implant technology but little on long-term implant technology. We know nothing about what the short-term and long-term technologies are. It would be too far fetched to infer what they are based on the information provided.
