The GRE's onscreen calculator can help us quickly evaluate Quantity B.
That said, here's another approach:
Notice that \((0.06)^2 = (6/100)^2 = 36/10,000 = 0.0036\)
This means \(\sqrt{0.0036} = 0.06\)
So, we can take Quantity A and replace \(0.06\) with \(\sqrt{0.0036}\) to get:
Quantity A: \(\sqrt{0.0036}\)
Quantity B: \(\sqrt{0.036}\)
Since \(0.036 > 0.0036\), we know that \(\sqrt{0.036} > \sqrt{0.0036}\)
Answer: B
