The official answer to this question is wrong. NO of ways to divide 6 students in 3 pairs is 6C2 x 4C2 x 2C2 = 6C2 X 4C2 X 1 = 90 No of ways to assign the teams 3 assignments = 3! Ans (E) 540

verified on google.
When you did 6C2 x 4C2 x 2C2 = 6C2 X 4C2 X 1 = 90. You took care of all the possible arrangements as well. Hence, answer would be 90 only.
