Hi, I'm confused :cry, when to use Pythagorean theorem in comparison question. For example:
can we go ahead and test these values to proof it's a right angle so the answer is C or the answer is D because we don't know it's a right triangle unless it's given?

PS: the length of the third must be less than the sum of the other two sides
and greater than the subtraction of the other two sides.
In the ques we have possible values -
4-3 < length of third side < 4+3
i.e 1 < length of third side < 7
Hence option is D
