Here,
Two pies are split into \(16\) equal parts, meaning each individual pie is split into 8 equal parts
and each person receives \(\frac{1}{8}\) of the each individual pie
Again, one of the resulting piece was divided equally among 3 people i.e. each of these 3 people receives = \(\frac{1}{8} * \frac{1}{3} = \frac{1}{24}\)

Each pie was cut into \(8\) pieces
If one piece was cut into \(3\) pieces what fraction of a pie did each person receive?
Since one pie was cut into \(8\) equal pieces and one piece was equally distributed among three peoples, each person got \(1\) out of \(8 \times 3 = 24\) pieces
So the answer is \(\frac{1}{24}\)
Choice B is the answer.
